The Host ID is a unique identifier for the host computer. During the evaluation period, only the computer with the corresponding Host ID will be allowed to use the software.

We allow two types of Host ID. You can use your computer Ethernet address or a USB hardware key provide by Design Workshop. For the latter one, you will need to wait until you receive this key by courier before you start your evaluation.

For the Ethernet address, you have to provide the address of your primary network adapter. There are many ways to find this number but here is a simply application that you can use to located it easy regardless of the Windows version your are using.

1. Download the lmtools.exe application.


2. Run the lmtools.exe application and select the ?System Settings? tab.


3. Copy the content of the Ethernet address field and paste it into the evaluation form.
   Note that many adapters can be listed. The first one is used to produce the license file.
