Francois Marquis
CEO & Founder

In 1988, Francois founded Design Workshop Technologies to commercialize the MacGDS software (that he had developed from 1984-1988), later renamed dw-2000. Prior to that, he had his own consulting firm, providing layout services to key customers in the Ottawa region. Francois started his career at Mitel Corporation where he worked on advanced microelectronic chips developments, including those that led to the cell-phone technologies. Francois holds a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering from Sherbrooke University.
